Today was a historic day for Black History and the Civil Rights Movement. Rosa Parks, the Mother of the Civil Rights Movement, was commemorated by President Obama. The President unveiled a full length statue of Rosa Parks at Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol, which is featured below: 


Rosa Parks was also honored earlier this month with the release of her “Rosa Parks Forever Stamp”, which is available at Post Offices nationwide.
