Blue Valentine has become a sleeper favorite. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is my all time favorite movie about relationships/love from the male perspective. Despite that it's actually about the couple breaking up, I think it does a pretty good job of showing the process of how men fall in love and how they treat the woman that's essentially Girlfriend Zero. Boomerang is a close 2nd.
